In 1994 there were lots of problems with North Korea threatening to begin processing spent nuclear fuel. President Clinton then decided to prepare for war. Clinton then secretly sent me to undertake a peace mission to North Korea. Clinton thought that I could lead the North Korean President down again.
I then made a peace treaty with North Korea. I also made the announcement on the news, so that the US would be forced into action. In the treaty North Korea agreed to stop and dismantle the nuclear testing program. They also agreed to follow nonproliferation obligations in exchange for oil. Overall the treaty was very successful and helpful.

I'm so glad that you made a peace treaty with North Korea. If you hadn't, our lives would probably be very different.
ReplyDeleteHello former President Carter, I am Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president. I was very astonished to hear that North Korea had been threatning to start producing nuclear weapons. It was a very good idea to sign the peace treaty with North Korea or else, like M. Jones commented, our lives would have been very different. It was impressive that you exchanged oil with obligations. You were a fine president.

Hey Jimmy, it's Harry Truman. A quite similar problem occurred during my presidency. You had to secretly undertake a mission to North Korea, while I partook in a secret project.
ReplyDeleteThe project was called, the Manhattan Project. It was to drop the first atomic bomb. I later dropped two bombs on Japan.
